The Sorcerer's Apprentice
During
the Rescue
of the Sacred Scrolls, the
LightRaider's are passing through the town of Safety's End on the Night
of the Scarlet Moon. They learn that two children have been born
that night. Because of the time of their birth, they have been
given the "honor" of being taken to be dedicated to the School
of Magic.
In
this mini-adventure, orginally developed by a DR group in Alaska, the
LightRaiders are given the mission of rescuing the children. The
story may be played as a part of the Rescue of the Sacred Scrolls, or as
a seperate adventure placed about a year after the original adventure.
The
original text was written by Steve Carrington, with additions and
revisions (including cue cards and a dragon) by Joe Revesz and Rich
Sezov.
The
adventure is excellant, and worth the effort to include in your next
playing of RSS.

Descent
into Darkness
Descent
into Darkness
(DID) is an add-on adventure for the The
MoonBridge Raid - Part 3
(MBR3). This adventure will take place soon after the
LightRaiders enter Anamos Isle. The entire DID adventure will
take place in Hex 15 of MBR3. This will help to not disrupt the
consistancy in MBR3, yet allow the AM to have a little diversionary
fun, as well as the LR's.
Synopsis
An
evil Goblin clan has been established on Anamos Isle, with the
blessings of the Dragon Anamos itself. This clan is so ruthless
and evil that even other neighboring Goblin clans want to see them
uprooted and destroyed!
Anamos
has lured this particular clan of Goblins into a practice of making
the inhabitants of Anamos Isle and the surrounding area into
'offerings' by many means, including using the power of money to have
friends and family sell each other out to the Goblins.
The
OLMN calls the LightRaider party on a special mission as they pass by
the entrace to the caves which serves as the home for this evil clan
of Goblins. The mission is to infiltrate and destroy the Goblins
and every trace of their existance and rescue living humans located in
the caves.
This
mission requires the LightRaiders to face some horrible facets of evil
and to learn to stand with one another in unity to overcome thier fear
and vanquish the sins they are to confront.
*SPECIAL
NOTE*
This
adventure may be rather challenging to the new AM. It is
recommended that you are very familiar with this adventure before it
starts. In it, the players have the ability to roam completely
free with very little restraining parameters. This can lead to
very surprising circumstances so the AM needs to be on their toes and
prepared for anything. Keep this in mind when running this
adventure add-on. Feel free to adjust anything in this adventure
to meet your party's needs (such as amount of Goblins, skill levels,
items in rooms, order of events, description, maps, ect). Again,
I must stress that the AM running this adventure needs to be on their
toes and ready for anything...but that is half the fun of it!
CREDITS
AND HISTORY
Developed
by David Staley, Desecent into Darkness (DID) was first written in
1994 to be part of a stand alone adventure. Following
playtesting by Rich Sezov, additional editing assistance by both Rich
and Joe Revesz, and a final revision by David, the adventure was
altered to fit into MBR3. It has been available on the Internet
since August 2001.
This
adventure has some graphic depictions of evil, and therefore may not
be suitable for younger players. The AM has full right to alter
or change any of the items in this adventure to suit their groups
needs.

Valley
of Power, Spirit of Might
Valley
of Power
is a solo
adventure
that can be played with the need to have an Adventure Master to run the
game or a team of players. Think of it as a "Choose-Your-Own
-Adventure"
version of DragonRaid.
The
adventure began life as an article
in a DragonRaid newsletter several years ago. It has recently been
expanded (a total of 64
pages)
and posted on the Internet for anyone who wants to enljoy the adventure.
The
adventure teaches on the Fruits
of the Spirit,
is well worth the time it takes to play it.
If
the game is in text
format,
designed for Microsoft Word. But it should work with any other
text editor or word processor. Might requires a little bit of
"reformating"
on some word programs. While it can be read on-line, due to its
length -- and the requirement that you write out answers to questions,
etc. -- it is recommended that you save
the file to
your hard drive, print it out, and play from there
To
save the adventure to your hard drive, right-click

Target as..." (or
"Save Link As.. for Netscape users)
